When asked about serving in her hometown community, Pastor Amy had this to say “As a lifelong resident of the rural Fostoria area I love that God has opened doors for me to serve a community of believers in/around Fostoria. I sincerely believe that as a community of believers we are called not just to “go” to church; but to be the church in the way that we live, move, and have our being centered in Christ Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit. It is my sincere hope that as we move through this time and out of this pandemic, that, together, we may find more and more ways to live out our calling to be the church. In Acts 17:28, Luke writes the words “It is in Him we live and move and have our being”. It is this living, moving and being in Christ that is the foundation of my service.” Pastor Amy believes fully in the abundant grace and radical love that is found only through Jesus Christ.
